New Bowling Coach: South African pace bowling legend Allan Donald has been officially appointed as the new bowling coach for the Joburg Super Kings, taking over the role. The Exit of Eric Simons: Donald succeeds Eric Simons, whose long-standing tenure with the franchise has come to an end. Simons transitioned away alongside former head coach Stephen Fleming to join England's new red-ball coaching setup. Wider Staff Changes: Albie Morkel takes over as the full-time head coach following Stephen Fleming's departure. Pierre de Bruyn joins as the new fielding coach. Evan Speechly steps in as the new physiotherapist, replacing Tommy Simsek. Donald will replace Eric Simons, who will now join Stephen Fleming's backroom staff in England. Donald has accumulated a wealth of coaching experience since retiring from the game in 2004, having worked with Sri Lanka and New Zealand, apart from South Africa and Bangladesh, at the international level as well as Warwickshire, Kent, the Mountaineers, Pune Warriors India and Royal Challengers Bangalore among other teams.
