After a layoff as a result of an injury he sustained while on a tour of Zimbabwe, the sensational pacer from Bangladesh wants to get back into competitive cricket. Despite returning to bowl in the nets, BCB chief selector Habibul Bashar told on Monday that they are not ready to take any risk with him and, as a result, he will not take part in the Asian Games in September. With the intention of appearing in the Afghanistan series in October, Rana will continue his rehabilitation. Habibul stated on Monday, "We are not considering Nahid Rana for the Asian Games owing to his rehabilitation process." “He (Rana) will return with the Afghanistan series.
