Reflecting on the loss, Sakthi Karuppasamy said - We had a good start but then suffered three consecutive defeats. The squad regrouped, built a positive mindset and treated each game as a fresh start, which helped us beat Salem. Though the following results didn’t go our way, it was a valuable learning experience. Reflecting on the win, Captain Shahrukh Khan said- We felt we were slightly under par, so after the rain break, I had to attack and clear the ropes. We simply had the mindset of winning, and our last three games have been knockouts. Jhathavedh has performed exceptionally well in the middle overs.
